Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Nugget Trading Co. ("Nugget", "we", "us") for your use of the Nugget app and the nugget.cards website (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. The Service
Nugget helps you record trading card deals, track inventory and profit, and ask questions about your own records. Some features use AI. We may add, change or remove features over time. Beta versions may be unfinished and may change or break.
2. Your account
You sign in with Apple and are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. Tell us at hello@nugget.cards if you think your account has been misused.
3. Memberships
Paid memberships are sold through the Apple App Store and renew automatically until cancelled. Apple handles billing, cancellation and refunds under its terms, and you can manage or cancel a membership in your Apple ID settings. A membership includes a monthly AI allowance that resets each period and doesn't roll over. Your existing records, manual entry and exports keep working without a membership.
4. Your records are yours
You own the records and content you put into Nugget. Your book is stored on your device, so you're responsible for keeping your own backups and exports. We give you the limited permission we need to process content you send to AI features in order to provide them, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. AI results and figures
AI features can misread a message, photo or file, and figures such as profit, cost basis and inventory value depend on what was recorded. Check results before relying on them. Nugget is a record-keeping tool. It isn't tax, accounting, legal or investment advice, and it doesn't value or appraise cards.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to break the law, to record fraudulent transactions, to try to get around usage limits or security, to reverse engineer or overload the Service, or to resell access to it.
7. Third-party names
Nugget is independent and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any trading card game publisher, grading company or marketplace. Card names, images and other marks belong to their owners and are shown only to identify your cards.
8. Ending use
You can stop using Nugget and delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, and we'll try to give notice when we reasonably can.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we don't promise the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Nugget won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or records. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll tell you in the app or on this page before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
12. Apple
These terms are between you and Nugget, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
